BRIDGE CAST App Ver.4.00 for Windows


A connection issue was found on BRIDGE CAST App Ver.4.00 with BRIDGE CAST X Ver.1.02.
If your BRIDGE CAST X version is Ver.1.03 or later, BRIDGE CAST APP Ver.4.00 is available.
If you are using BRIDGE CAST X Ver.1.02, please install BRIDGE CAST App Ver.3.03 and update your BRIDGE CAST X system program to Ver.1.07 to use BRIDGE CAST App Ver.4.00.
The USB II on the back panel of BRIDGE CAST X needs to be “MOBILE” setting before connecting your computer.

    * BRIDGE CAST / BRIDGE CAST X requires a new USB driver (V2) to be installed. The new USB driver can be installed from the "BRIDGE CAST App".

Functionality Improvements
  • If [VIDEO] USB OUT was ON at the last startup, [VIDEO] USB OUT is automatically ON when a video signal that can be output from USB is input to HDMI IN.(BRIDGE CAST X)
  • [VIDEO] USB OUT remains ON even if the HDMI cable is unplugged.(BRIDGE CAST X)

DOWNLOADING AND UNARCHIVING THE COMPRESSED FILE
  1. Read the software license agreement at the bottom of the screen and select the “I agree” check box.
  2. Click the “Download” button to download the BRIDGE CAST App (bridgecast_app_w400.zip).
  3. Right-click the file and select “Extract All,” then click "Extract".
  4. “bridgecast_app_w400” folder appears.

HOW TO INSTALL
  1. Open the “bridgecast_app_w400” folder.
  2. Double-click “Roland_BRIDGE_CAST_Installer.exe”.
    The installer starts.
  3. Follow the on-screen instructions to install.

PROCEDURE FOR UPDATING SYSTEM PROGRAM
Use the BRIDGE CAST App software to update the BRIDGE CAST, BRIDGE CAST X and BRIDGE CAST ONE hardware's system program.
When you connect a BRIDGE CAST / BRIDGE CAST X / BRIDGE CAST ONE with an older version to your computer, the update screen pops up.
Follow the steps below to update.
  1. Connect the BRIDGE CAST or BRIDGE CAST X(USB II port) or BRIDGE CAST ONE to a computer with the included USB cable.
  2. From the computer's "Start" menu, select "Roland BRIDGE CAST" -> "BRIDGE CAST."
    *When updating BRIDGE CAST X, make sure to use the computer that's connected to the USB II port.
  3. If the message “Version mismatch” appears, click the “UPDATE”.
  4. When the confirmation screen for updating the version appears, click “OK”.
    The update starts.
    -Never disconnect the USB cable while the update is in progress.
    -It takes approximately 2 minutes.
  5. After the update is complete, follow the indications on the App screen.
    -The update process may continue. In this case, the MIC EFFECTS [ON] button flashes to start the update. (The VIDEO [HDMI IN] button may blink on BRIDGE CAST X.) When the update is complete, it will start as it is.
