14-Inch Digital Snare
PD-140DSX snare included with the VAD716 kit. PD-140DS snare included with the VAD507 and VAD504 kits.
The PD-140DSX and PD-140DS digital snare pads work with high-speed processing in supported modules to bring the ultimate expression to your snare work. A three-layer mesh head is fitted to a standard 14-inch shell for a familiar rebound and feel. The multi-element sensor system tracks strokes across the pad in precise detail, and cross-stick techniques are automatically detected. The PD-140DSX takes the authentic experience even further, providing updated sensing and traditional snare throw-off hardware that’s supported with the V71 module.
18-Inch Digital Ride Cymbal
Included with the VAD716, VAD507, and VAD504 kits.
With its standard 18-inch size and familiar motion, expressive players will love the CY-18DR V-Cymbal Ride. The pad’s high-resolution, multi-sensor system detects every stroke from edge to bell, working with the V71 and TD-27 modules for ultra-detailed dynamics and response. Techniques from cymbal rolls to soft bell strokes are fully translated, and you can even mute the bow and bell with a gentle finger touch.
14-Inch Digital Hi-Hat
Included with the VAD716, VAD507, and VAD504 kits.
The groundbreaking VH-14D digital hi-hat offers touch sensitivity, tonal variation, and open/closed resolution never available in electronic hi-hats until now. The 14-inch top/bottom cymbal design provides a familiar look and feel, while the high-res detection system captures stick and foot articulations with perfect detail for processing in the module at lightning speed.

Ultra-Responsive Tom Shell Sensors
Toms include detailed sensor systems developed specifically for V-Drums Acoustic Design wood shells. A sophisticated structure inside the shell eliminates hot spots and provides accurate, dynamically even response across the entire playing surface of the head.

Integrated Recording
One of the best ways to improve your drumming is to record yourself playing and then listen back to identify areas you need to work on. Just use the buttons on a supported module to record your playing and listen back instantly. You can also export your recordings to an SD card, providing a great starting point for DAW-based song development.
