New Pre-Loaded Samples

All the internal instruments in the TD-17 can be further enhanced by loading and layering user samples. The TD-17 Version 2 update automatically loads 26 professional quality samples, which are used in the 20 new preset kits. The samples can also be freely assigned to other preset and custom kits to develop new tones and timbres.

Reverb and Compression

When drums are professionally recorded, reverbs and compressors are often added in the mixing phase to enhance individual drums or the entire kit. TD-17 Version 2 adds these powerful processing tools, allowing you to bring studio polish to kits and create drum sounds as individual as you are.

Expanded Effects

The TD-17’s Multi FX section is another excellent way to change up your sound and bring fresh inspiration to your playing. Eleven new types have been added to the module’s already impressive arsenal, including Equalizer, Spectrum, Low Boost, Enhancer, Humanizer, Slicer, Step Flanger, Hexa-Chorus, 4Tap Pan Delay, Enhancer→Flanger, and Speaker Simulator.

Support for the Latest Roland Pads

TD-17 Version 2 also includes trigger parameter settings for the latest V-Pads and V-Cymbals, including the thin-profile CY-12C-T crash and CY-14R-T ride.
