• OCTAPAD SPD-30 Indian Kits Backup 15th June 2017

  Backup with 10 additional Kits.

  Procedure for the update

  Never power-off your SPD-30 while the update is in progress. If a power failure or similar accident occurs during the update process, the SPD-30 won't be able to start up in normal operating mode.

  • Extract the downloaded file on the computer
  • Format the pen drive on SPD-30 and copy paste the backup folder as - ROOT==> ROLAND==> SPD-30==>DATA01==>BACKUP
  • Select MENU
  • Turn Knob 1 to select USB
  • Press F3 to select ENTER (option)
  • Press F2 to select LOAD (option)
  • Turn Knob 1 to select back up all
  • Press F3 to select ENTER (option)
  • Select Backup – SPD30 RIV290517
  • Press F3 to LOAD Back up

  Please note when you install our backup all other other CUSTOM setting made by you would be deleted. Hence its always advised to take a back up of your Pad before installing our back up file.

• OCTAPAD SPD-30 Indian Kits Individual Kits Backup 15th June 2017

  Procedure to load individual kits

  • Extract the downloaded file on the computer
  • Format the pen drive on SPD-30 and copy paste the backup folder as - ROOT==> ROLAND==> SPD-30==>DATA01==>KIT
  • Select MENU
  • Turn Knob 1 to select USB
  • Press F3 to select ENTER (option)
  • Press F2 to select LOAD (option)
  • Press F3 to select ENTER (option)
  • Turn Knob 1 Select the desired kit
  • Turn Knob 3 to assign desired kit number
  • Press F3 to Load the new kit

  Please note when you install these Kits all other other CUSTOM setting made by you may change. Hence its always advised to take a back up of your Pad before installing our kits.

• OCTAPAD SPD-30 System Update Version 2.03

  This is the latest version of operating system for the OCTAPAD® SPD-30. After downloading and extracting the compressed file, please refer to the “SPD-30_System_Update_Procedure” PDF document included for the update procedure and Version 2.03 features.

  This free update includes several enhancements, including:

  • 99 enhanced preset kits with the best selection of world-percussion sounds
  • Improved control over Phrase Loop functions for live performance
  • Preset Kit Chain for quick access of specific musical sounds and styles
  • Boost your output gain +6dB when a stronger signal is needed
  • Adds "BT-1", "KD-9", "PDX-100", "PD-108", "PD-128", "CY-12C" and "CY-13R" to the Trigger Type
